Kate Drohan
Psychotherapist and Registered Social Service Worker with the O.C.S.W.S.S.W
I bring more than a decade of experience, during which I’ve refined my skills across diverse therapeutic methods. These approaches have been a ray of hope to numerous individuals facing challenges like anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and addictions.
In my therapy sessions, I offer a unique blend of approaches, a tapestry woven from threads of humanistic and strength-focused techniques intertwined with elements of psychodynamic, mindfulness, trauma awareness, cognitive behavioral, existential, and somatic practices.
Psychotherapy isn’t just my career—it’s a passion I deeply connected with early on. My work’s motivation stems from witnessing my clients’ profound transformations and observing them transition from grappling with challenges to flourishing.
My educational path is a testament to my commitment to this field and dedication to providing informed and compassionate care. I earned a master’s level diploma in Existential-Integrative Psychotherapy from the Living Institute. I also hold an honors bachelor’s in family and community social services from the University of Guelph Humber. In addition, I have a Social Service Worker Diploma from Humber College.
I am originally from Toronto. My hobbies include playing tennis, hiking, being in nature with my dogs, and spending time with my family and friends.
